In the foreground a shaven-headed man in white dhoti and shawl sits with his back to the camera. Women in orange, red, yellow and white saris and shawls sit cross-legged on mats before banana-leaf plates of food, with cups and water bottles beside them. Behind them, older women in orange and white sit at long tables with plates, under a red curtain and bright windows. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2012-04-26
