A devotee in white dhoti kneels at his feet, which rest in a metal basin of water, while women in orange and white saris stand behind. The setting suggests a ritual padapuja. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by the red turban, saffron-toned robe, garlands and throne cues.2017-07-08 +1 copiesWarm-lit photograph of a ritual in a hall. In the foreground, a figure with a green and red turban, gold armbands and a green-and-white garland stands with his back to the camera, offering a bowl to a seated man in orange clothes with long braided dreadlocks and a shallow red bowl or leaf held at his lips. A second person in orange with braided hair holds a brass bowl of offerings. Green and white flower garlands hang on the right. Behind them a crowd of people in orange and red clothing raise their hands. A red digital clock is on the wall. The seated man's identity is not established by visible cues, so he is described by role only.2017-08-14May 18 20122012-05-18A photograph of a ceremonial moment in a crowded temple or ashram setting.
