Two in white dhotis with bare chests and gold-bordered cloth wear rudraksha malas and forehead markings, and one in a white dhoti and shawl presses petals into his palms. Those in saffron and orange robes and red robes with gold borders wear rudraksha malas and tilak marks, and a bowl of red and orange petals and piles of yellow and red marigolds lie before them on leaves on a pale stone floor.2013-12-22April 23 20132013-04-23July 27 20132013-07-27Outdoor scene of a group of young boys seated on the ground in matching red-orange ceremonial wraps with gold borders, some with bare shoulders, sacred ash marks on their foreheads, and rudraksha or bead necklaces. They sit on large green banana leaves strewn with yellow and red flower petals, handling and arranging the blossoms in a ritual setting, several with eyes lowered in concentration. A bright, sunlit stone-paved ground surrounds them. No adult a person figure is visible in the frame, and the image carries a copyright credit in the lower right corner.2013-12-22
