A seated figure with long dark hair wears a red and white garland and an ornate gold-trimmed garment, sitting on a cushioned seat beneath a large orange-yellow umbrella fringed with tassels. Crowds of devotees in white shirts and dhotis surround the cart, and palm trees and a blue sky fill the background. A second umbrella with blue and gold patterns appears at right.2010-02-12December 05 20162016-12-05A night procession photographed from the side. A large golden palanquin-style vehicle with a multicolored canopy umbrella, hanging tassels in green, blue, yellow and pink, and bells is decorated with orange and purple marigold and white flower garlands. A seated figure in a red-and-gold crown-like headdress and a red garland sits on a red cushioned seat at the centre. Devotees in light clothing crowd around the vehicle, some reaching up to touch or hold it, and a figure at the lower right holds a white fan-like whisk. Tall palms and a dark sky with a moon frame the scene.2011-12-15
