December 03 20112011-12-03A collage photograph with a large main panel and a smaller inset. In the main panel, a smiling man wearing an orange and saffron turban and a long saffron shawl sits on an ornate red throne decorated with garlands of red and yellow flowers. He wears a gold necklace, a gold armband and a saffron-and-purple garment with gold trim. A dark ceremonial object with an orange cloth sits in the foreground. The small inset panel shows several seated people on a mat with a placard reading Somnath Oklahoma, beside a string of beads.2011-12-03A collage-style graphic with a central inset showing a projected screen photo of several women seated on a paved courtyard before a row of statues, with garlands and small offering items on the ground. Around it, a richly decorated golden throne with a red velvet cushion is surrounded by marigold and rose garlands and gold draped fabric. A seated man in a saffron-orange turban and purple dhoti-style wrap, wearing layered gold necklaces, bangles and a rudraksha-style mala, smiles on the throne. The inset is a screen showing another photo, and the figure on the throne is a physical person in the main panel, while the courtyard women appear only on the screen.2011-12-03December 12 20112011-12-12January 14 20122012-01-14December 12 20112011-12-12November 15 20112011-11-15 +1 copiesPhoto 11684492December 18 20112011-12-18January 14 20122012-01-14December 18 20112011-12-18December 30 20112011-12-30
