Photo 11683940November 20 20122012-11-20Hundreds of small white shell-shaped objects, each topped with a red flower bud or red kumkum-coloured cone, are arranged in rows on large orange cloth spread across the floor. Each object sits on a little heap of white grains. Green-edged mats frame the cloth and a conch shell rests at the upper edge. No people are visible; the scene is a ritual offering arrangement, possibly prepared for a puja or annadan-style distribution.2011-12-01Outdoor photo of many shallow white cloth-draped mats laid across the ground in rows, each holding a mound of white conical offerings. Several mats are orange-brown and others are white, with red-bordered cloth edges. No people are visible, so this appears to show arranged ritual offerings prepared for a ceremony.2013-12-20May 13 20142014-05-13December 19 20132013-12-19May 13 20142014-05-13November 28 20142014-11-28November 06 20112011-11-06 +1 copiesOctober 22 20112011-10-22Photograph of a large field of rows of white conical sculptures of rice or sweet mounds arranged on a pale floor scattered with rice grains and red petals. A red cloth canopy hangs across the top edge, and a garland of white and red flowers rests on a small seated deity murti or ritual figure near the back.
