November 29 20112011-11-29November 29 20112011-11-29Large crowd of devotees gathered in front of an ornate, white-and-gold temple gopuram and shrine hall at dusk, under a grey sky with a forested hill behind. Orange and green festoons with garlands hang along the facade, and a tall gold flagstaff (dhvajastambha) rises beside the shrine. Many people, mostly in traditional dress, press against a barrier line; a few priests stand near the entrance. A timestamp in the corner reads 29 11 2011 06 36.2011-11-29December 20 20112011-12-20 +1 copiesNovember 29 20112011-11-29Kailasa Paramparagatha Arunagiri Yogishwara Adi Arunachala Sarvajnapeetha Samrajyam +1 copies2010 - Photo Album +1 copiesNovember 28 20222022-11-28January 12 20072007-01-12Photo 11725411Dense outdoor crowd gathered before an ornate temple gopuram-style entrance decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and hanging flower strings. Many people in white shirts and dhotis, saris in pink and red, and some bare-chested men in orange dhotis stand packed together behind a metal barrier rail. Banners with painted deity figures hang from the temple front, and a timestamp reads 29 11 2011 06:36 in orange digits in the lower right. A large portion of the crowd is visible in the foreground, including elderly people and children.2011-11-29December 08 20112011-12-08
