A photograph of a procession down a narrow aisle under a decorated ceiling with hanging paper streamers and lamps. A man in orange-saffron robes walks at the centre of the aisle with long dark hair swept back, which is a compatible presentation; he may be the a person, though appearance is uncertain. Devotees line both sides behind metal railings: men in white shirts with hands pressed together in anjali, and women in colourful saris, some holding flowers or offerings. A man in white at left also has palms joined. The scene suggests a darshan or procession.2011-11-29December 14 20112011-12-14February 12 20102010-02-12 +1 copiesAugust 23 20112011-08-23A photograph inside an indoor hall with a red-carpeted floor where a line of men in white clothing stands with palms pressed together in greeting. In the centre, a figure in orange saffron robes carries a silver tray with offerings, and beside them a second figure in orange robes with a shaved head walks forward. A man in a light blue shirt stands at the left edge, and a warm yellow lamp hangs near the top right. The scene looks like a ritual procession or reception of a swami; the figure in orange carrying the tray is an ordinary sannyasi-style devotee, and no identity can be attributed from appearance.2010-12-05January 01 20122012-01-012010 - Photo AlbumPhoto 11683837 +1 copiesA photograph of an indoor temple ritual with a shaved-head devotee in white clothing and a woman in an orange sari with a gold-bordered blouse receiving an aarti plate from a priest in white. Several people with hands joined in anjali stand behind a metal railing. A small boy in a yellow shirt is among them. The priest holds a tray of lit lamps and offerings, and an orange-clad figure stands at the centre. Warm lighting and floral decoration suggest an aarti or puja.2010-11-01Photo 11744502 +1 copiesNovember 06 20112011-11-06January 18 20092009-01-18
