The deity wears a golden crown and is draped in garlands of yellow, orange, red and white flowers, with a gold necklace and a blue-skinned figure with a garland at its base. Behind it are ornate gold arches and a brass oil lamp (deepa) at right, with flower offerings and fruit on the floor. The setting is a temple shrine with a red curtain and a brass lamp with a peacock-style top. Dress of the seated man is saffron with a gold chain and bangles, consistent with the page's account of padapuja at a person temple.2008-10-16December 24 20112011-12-24Photo 11684220November 05 20102010-11-05Photo 11683774October 16 20082008-10-16January 02 20152015-01-02Photo 11683826 +1 copiesDecember 25 20122012-12-25A photograph of a golden deity murti in a temple-like setting, adorned with a thick garland of yellow, white, red and green flowers draped over its shoulders and arms. The murti wears an orange turban-like headdress with a jeweled ornament. In the foreground, a robed priest in orange and saffron clothing, with a bare shaved head and red tilak on the forehead, stands bowing with hands joined in front of the chest, holding a small ritual object. Behind them, ornate golden framing and colourful panels decorate the background. This appears to depict an abhishekam or puja offering to the murti.2008-05-03
