November 23 20112011-11-23A man stands outdoors before a large banyan tree with thick, buttress-like roots. He wears a white dhoti with a gold border, the gold-edged cloth draped over his left shoulder and across his bare chest, and a ceremonial gold necklace with a silver-toned pendant. Multiple strands of red and brown rudraksha beads hang across his chest, with matching beaded armlets and wristbands. He has a white vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead and holds his hands clasped at his waist, gazing to the side. A patterned red and cream mat lies on the ground at left. Appearance-based candidate for a person, shown standing in ritual white dress with rudraksha malas and gold ornament, with no visible crown or saffron clothing.2012-04-26Photo 11683666 +1 copiesSeptember 07 20112011-09-07November 23 20112011-11-23 +1 copiesFebruary 16 20122012-02-16 +1 copiesArticle - Choose war or peace +1 copiesApril 26 20122012-04-26February 25 20122012-02-25October 24 20112011-10-24Photo 11683466A man in a white dhoti and white shawl with wide gold borders stands with eyes closed and hands clasped at his waist in a calm, meditative pose. He wears multiple strands of rudraksha beads with red coral beads, rudraksha armlets and wrist bands, a silver ornamental necklace with a gold central piece, and a silver disc pendant. A white and red tilak marks his forehead. Behind him are large tree trunks and roots, with a red and patterned mat and an ochre earthen ground at left. The clothing and adornments are distinctive, but the appearance alone does not clearly establish a specific identity, so the person is described by role as a devotee in ceremonial white.2012-04-26
