Photo 11741920A photograph inside a temple shrine of a standing priest in saffron-orange robes who holds a lit oil lamp aarti flame toward a large golden deity murti. The murti shows a goddess in a magenta and gold sari with a crown, garlanded with red and yellow flowers, beside a seated figure draped with a white dhoti-like cloth and garlands. Tall ornate brass lamp stands and a golden arched canopy frame the shrine, and a small figure is visible at the right edge. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti offering.2010-07-21Photo 11683176February 06 20122012-02-06September 28 20112011-09-28A shaven-headed priest in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha mala bends forward at a temple shrine, pouring liquid from a brass pot onto a dark stone lingam set in a black basin. Behind him, two gilded deity murtis stand under a golden arch draped with multicoloured marigold garlands; the central figure wears a crown and red-and-green silk, and a ceremonial trident leans beside the basin. A small white statue of a seated figure sits in front of the lingam, and a bronze kalasha rests nearby. The scene reads as abhishekam at a temple shrine.2011-03-03December 28 20112011-12-28November 19 20112011-11-19September 07 20112011-09-07November 06 20112011-11-06 +1 copiesDecember 13 20112011-12-13Photo 11683441
