Several men are bare-chested and wear white dhotis with a dark border, some with sacred threads and necklaces. The central man wears a saffron-orange robe and a long garland of beads and a gold pendant, with a red tilak on his forehead and long dark hair, and smiles toward the camera. Swamiji (probable): the central man in saffron robe with long hair, rudraksha-style beaded garland and ceremonial gold pendant matches the presentation cues, though this is an appearance-based label. The other men stand around him, some smiling, some with hands folded.2006-11-10Group photograph of about fifteen men standing in front of a thatched-roof structure with a whitewashed wall and paved floor. In the centre, a bald man with a white beard wears saffron-orange robes and dark sunglasses, with a man in yellow robes beside him. Another bald man in a red-orange shawl stands at right, and a man in white kurta with a saffron scarf and rudraksha mala stands nearby. Men in white shirts and dhotis flank the group, and a table with a cup and plate stands at left beside a blue bag. Appearance is not sufficient to assign the bald central figure in saffron to a specific identity, so the role is described as a sannyasi in saffron robes. Several participants wear rudraksha malas and white or cream clothing. Kolam designs are drawn on the ground at lower right.
