The central figure is a seated deity covered in vegetables and fruit: green squash and gourds, long beans, corn cobs and round pumpkins arranged in heaps around the figure. White and green garlands hang from the head and neck, and a crown-like headdress sits on top. Behind it are draped cloths in orange, teal and gold. Tall brass oil lamps stand on both sides. In the lower left, a small figure in an orange robe with a gold pendant kneels or sits before the offering, with a brass plate and vessels nearby.2009-10-19July 26 20112011-07-26 +1 copiesJanuary 17 20122012-01-17A photograph of a deity murti shrine decorated with yellow and red marigold garlands and a white flower garland. Two large orange-and-red clad deity forms are seated above a dark throne-like seat with a snake-hood motif. Below, a seated person in white with a saffron-and-gold wrap and a gold-embroidered head covering kneels before the shrine, with a brass lamp stand, a brass kalasha and a small offering tray in front. Red drapes frame the golden arch behind. The scene reads as a darshan and puja before the murti.2010-07-28January 27 20122012-01-27March 05 20122012-03-05Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva DevalayaAugust 21 20112011-08-21
