The murti has a golden crown and a face covered in garlands of red, yellow, green and white flowers. Behind him a gilded throne-like seat, a brass oil lamp, a small framed photograph with flowers, and a brass kalasha and lamps are arranged on the altar. Tall painted pillars and a red curtain frame the stage. The man wears a rudraksha-style bead necklace and bangles; his appearance is consistent with a person performing puja, appearance-based only.2008-10-15A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged with hands folded in front of him, eyes closed, in prayer before a decorated deity murti. The deity wears a golden crown and is draped in garlands of yellow, orange, red and white flowers, with a gold necklace and a blue-skinned figure with a garland at its base. Behind it are ornate gold arches and a brass oil lamp (deepa) at right, with flower offerings and fruit on the floor. The setting is a temple shrine with a red curtain and a brass lamp with a peacock-style top. Dress of the seated man is saffron with a gold chain and bangles, consistent with the page's account of padapuja at a person temple.2008-10-16A temple shrine scene at night with a priest in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl standing at a side table, offering or pouring from a small vessel toward a deity murti. The central murti is adorned with a gold crown, white flower garlands and a silver necklace, seated under a gold arch. Other gold-framed deity figures and a framed portrait hang above, with red and white flowers, brass lamps and a kalasha-like vessel in the foreground. Pillars wrapped in multicolored garlands frame the altar. The priest has a shaved head and no clearly distinctive a person cues such as long hair, crown or rudraksha mala, so identity is uncertain; only his role as a priest is described.2008-05-03December 28 20112011-12-28January 09 20152015-01-09October 15 20082008-10-15A seated priest in white dhoti and shawl, bare-chested with white ash markings on his arms and chest, sits cross-legged before a large deity murti draped in a garland of red and white flowers and wearing a golden crown. Behind it a yellow and orange cloth backdrop frames the scene. In front, a white statue in red robes with a red head wrap and a rudraksha mala sits on a flower-strewn platform beside brass pots, bowls and a kalasha-style vessel. The priest holds a small book or cloth in his hands. No living a person is evidently present; the seated red-robed figure is a statue.2011-08-09
