In the foreground, women in white and saffron-orange shawls sit on orange mats before brass puja plates, lamps and small vessels with orange and red offerings. Behind them, women in yellow and orange sit in rows, and a few people in white sit along the right side. Hanging red and gold banners are visible at the top. The scene suggests a group puja or satsang, with women's hands joined in prayer or resting on laps.2010-09-30
