In the foreground a boy in a dark striped shirt and a boy in a white collared shirt with a light blue top grin at the camera; a boy with a small red tilak mark on his forehead stands centrally. Behind them girls in pink and yellow school dresses and boys in white shirts and dark trousers are visible, with a building wall and a green plant at left. Several more children are partially visible at the back. The scene appears to be a children's gathering at a school or community event.A candid photograph of a group of smiling schoolchildren crowded together indoors. Foreground, a boy in a dark brown shirt with multicoloured graphic prints and a red lanyard with an ID badge holds a small white paper packet or food item. Beside him, a boy in a green-and-cream striped shirt with a red lanyard grins and holds a similar packet. Behind them, several more children peer in, including a boy in a white shirt and a girl in a pink top. The background is a plain pale wall and a doorway edge.January 07 20122012-01-07A six-panel collage of photographs from a food distribution drive. Several panels show a boy in a blue shirt and a woman in a green sari holding steel plates or bowls to receive food on a dirt road. Other panels show crowds of women in colourful saris and children queuing beside a green-and-white vehicle, a woman in a green sari carrying a child and a pink-topped bowl, and a group gathered around a parked auto-rickshaw with a red and orange banner. Several figures are visible across the panels; the collage itself is a graphic, not a single photograph.2012-01-01 +1 copiesJuly 31 20112011-07-31Three boys sit close together in a hall, smiling and holding up small printed cards of a smiling woman in a bright orange-yellow head wrap and orange garment. The boy in the centre wears a white jacket over a green-and-white striped shirt with a red bindi and gold bangles; the boy on the left has a red bindi and holds the cards; the boy on the right wears a blue long-sleeved top. Behind them, a cameraman films on a tripod and other people sit on an orange floor covering. The cards show a woman's portrait, not a physical person, and the image is a photograph.2010-12-12January 05 20122012-01-05 +1 copiesA photograph of a group of young children standing outdoors on a grassy area, several of them with palms pressed together in namaste or prayer gesture while singing or chanting. A girl in the centre wears an orange and pink dress with a white hair clip, beside girls in pastel and orange flowing dresses and a boy in an orange shirt in the foreground seen from behind. Some children wear hair ornaments and bangles. A few bare-legged children stand on a dirt and grass patch with a tree line and building in the background. No adult or a person candidate is visible in the frame.
