Behind him a crowd of about twenty people in white clothing stands with hands folded in anjali, including women in white saris and men in white kurtas. The girl in front has her palms pressed together at her chest with eyes lowered, while the boy behind her raises his hands high above his head and leans over her shoulders. A third performer in white is inverted in a handstand-like pose with legs raised near the boy's torso. A white round prop hangs in the upper right, and scattered petals or confetti lie on the wooden stage floor. The lower-left corner carries a small purple and white logo, and a faint vertical caption runs along the right edge.2008-10-09Outdoors on a striped pink, turquoise and red mat, a man in white clothes with a red and gold-bordered shawl bends forward with his palms on the mat, performing a forward bend. Around him stand about two dozen young men and women in white dhotis, saris and kurtas, several with hands folded or clasped in reverence. Several other people in white dhotis with red borders stand behind them on the dirt. The outdoor setting suggests a devotional gesture of padapuja-style prostration, with the kneeling figure bowing to the seated or standing teacher.2007-10-01May 28 20132013-05-28 +1 copiesOctober 01 20072007-10-01
