Night photograph of an outdoor procession on a paved courtyard with colourful striped mats. A central bearded man in a rust-brown dhoti and shawl, a gold pendant on a thick gold necklace and a leopard-print headband, smiles with his palms pressed together. Beside him a young man in saffron robes and rudraksha beads holds a tall golden staff with a red-and-gold canopy overhead. Around them saffron-clad disciples stand with hands folded in anjali, and one man lies prostrate in front of the group. A video camera on a tripod films from the left, and a white standing fan stands at the right edge.2017-10-08October 08 20172017-10-08Night outdoor procession at an ashram-style courtyard lit by string lights. A bearded man in a brown-maroon dhoti and shawl, wearing a heavy gold necklace and a leopard-print headcloth, walks forward with palms pressed in greeting. Beside him a young man in orange robes and rudraksha beads holds a tall gold-tipped staff with a red and multicoloured canopy above. Around them, many devotees in orange and saffron robes press their palms together, and women in maroon sarees with beaded necklaces stand at the edges. A camera on a tripod films the scene at left, and a standing fan sits at right beside a striped mat. A person prostrates on the ground in front. The centre man has distinctive ornaments, so this is a person candidate in a procession, but the identification is uncertain from appearance.2017-10-08October 08 20172017-10-08October 08 20172017-10-08April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesNight procession of saffron-robed devotees under a multicoloured fringed canopy.
