A group of shaved-headed men in white dhotis with gold borders stand at the edge of a greenish temple water tank, reading from sheets of paper. Several wear rudraksha malas and bare chests. A woman in a turquoise and cream sari with a red bindi and rudraksha mala stands in the centre, holding a paper and reciting. Other men hold papers or fold their hands in anjali. The stone steps and tank wall are visible behind them.2016-10-11 +1 copiesMay 09th 20162016-05-09May 21 20162016-05-21December 23 20162016-12-23January 12 20172017-01-12A large group of shaved-headed men and boys stands waist-deep in a pool of greenish water, many wearing maroon and orange saffron-toned robes and orange or brown rudraksha-style beaded malas. Several have white ash or chalk marks on their heads and faces. A central man in glasses wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a gold necklace, his hands joined at his chest. Metal poles with a silver railing stand at the left edge, and a small child in orange sits in the water at the bottom. The scene appears to be a collective ritual bathing or immersion.2013-07-22March 02 20172017-03-02 +1 copiesJanuary 04 20172017-01-04 +1 copiesPhoto of a shaved-headed man in profile wearing white ritual cloth with a gold border over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and white and ash-coloured tilak markings on his forehead and upper arm.
