Brass lamp stands and golden umbrellas surround the space.2015-10-12Night-time outdoor ritual on a raised stone platform: a sacred fire burns beside a golden ornate throne draped in red fabric, with a small decorated shrine with flower garlands at left. Several priests in white dhotis and orange shawls sit on the platform performing the rite, while standing attendants in orange and white are at the edges. Seated in front of the platform on striped mats, a large audience of devotees in white, orange and maroon clothing watches, some with hands folded. A golden throne with a red and gold canopy umbrella stands to the right, with a seated figure in orange robes; the figure's appearance is too uncertain to attribute to anyone.
