A large crowd of devotees with raised palms in a chanting or prayer gesture fills the frame, most dressed in white with red shoulder shawls. Many wear orange or red garlands, rudraksha malas and lanyards, and some have vibhuti or tilak on their foreheads. A man in the foreground wears an orange sash over white and a red kumkum tilak. A bald man in the upper right wears a red shawl over white and is sitting among the crowd. A woman in the lower centre wears a red bindi. The setting appears to be a hall with warm lighting.
