The guru's hair is swept back. Red flowers hang at the left edge, a brass lamp sits on the wall, and a projection screen glows behind them in a room with red drapes.2014-01-03A seated man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a bare chest, a thick gold necklace of beads and a gold armlet shaped like a cobra, gives a blessing by placing his palms on the forehead of an older man with grey hair. The older man wears a white shirt and an orange shawl and has his hands raised in receiving posture. Behind them are other people in orange shawls and a red curtain. The seated man has a swept-back topknot, a white forehead mark, and a gold chain pendant; his appearance is consistent with the a person cues on this page, though a candidate identification is uncertain. The scene is a blessing or diksha moment in an indoor hall.2013-03-03A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured ceremonial necklace, his hair swept back into a bun and yellow paste marking his forehead, places his right hand on the forehead of a younger man in a white long-sleeved shirt who sits leaning forward with eyes closed. The seated figure sits on a red cushioned seat beside an ornate gold carved throne back, with red and cream drapery behind. Visible and is omitted from the text list2014-01-14
