A seated man on an ornate gold throne (peetha) raises both hands in greeting or blessing while speaking into a microphone on a stand. He wears a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and a long gold-beaded necklace. The throne is draped with a multicoloured garland of red, yellow, orange and white flowers, and the stage front is decorated with orange marigolds and white garland strands. Silver lamps stand on either side, and a red and gold fringed cloth covers the stage. Behind the throne hangs yellow floral backdrop with patterned panels. A small fan is visible at left. Swamiji (probable): the appearance cues are long swept-back hair, a gold necklace and an ornate throne with a shawl, supporting an identification as the speaker at this satsang.
