A young man in a white kurta with an orange shawl stands at centre, looking down at an open booklet and holding a small white card. Beside him a woman with long dark hair wears an orange shawl and holds a paper. A woman in a white sari with gold border stands at left foreground, her back to the camera, and a girl in white with an orange shawl appears at the left edge. A black tote bag hangs from the man's hand. No a person candidate is visibly present.2006-10-07A photograph of an outdoor homa ritual on a blue tarpaulin beside a brick-lined fire pit decorated with yellow flowers. A central figure with long dark wavy hair and tripundra marks on the forehead sits cross-legged in an orange saffron robe, reading from an open book and speaking into a microphone on a stand. Two young assistants in white kurtas with orange shawls sit on either side; the one on the left holds a ritual implement and the one on the right sits near the microphone. Brass vessels, a ladle, a small silver vessel and a brass lamp sit on the ground, with a bare tree and dirt ground behind.2006-09-21Outdoor photo of two men sitting on a cream cloth on dry ground with bushes behind them. The man on the left wears a sleeveless red top with a flowing saffron-orange wrap and orange dhoti, sitting cross-legged with bare feet, and is reading a folded newspaper held in both hands. Beside him, a younger man in a white kurta with an orange shawl and a red tilak on his forehead is also reading a newspaper, with a wooden bead mala and gold bangle visible.2009-08-08Outdoor photo beside a wire fence and leafy green trees. A man with long dark hair tied back and a white forehead marking wears an orange saffron wrap over a bare upper body and holds a folded white strip of cloth, looking down at it. In the foreground, two young men walk away from the camera, both wearing white kurta-style tunics with orange shawls draped over their shoulders and white dhoti-style lower garments edged in maroon. Behind them stands a figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and sandals, with a red mark on his forehead; his face is visible and he faces the two men. The figure's appearance with long hair, orange clothing and forehead mark matches the page's note that a person is present, so this is a probable candidate, but the appearance cues are only moderately distinctive. Three people are visible.2006-10-10July 07 20092009-07-07
