A photograph of a courtyard gathering at an ashram-style building with a balcony, decorated with a green banana-leaf garland. In the foreground, a barefoot man in white dhoti and shirt, with grey hair, holds a lit lamp or arati plate toward a man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha-style mala. Nearby, a man in an orange shawl with a mala stands beside a man in white holding a mala. Behind them, a large crowd of women in saris, mostly in green, orange and red, and men in white clothes press together, some with palms pressed in namaste. An older man on the right raises his hands in greeting. A tiled walkway with pink and cream tiles leads through the scene, and a small sign hangs on the building wall. A timestamp reads 25 10 2006.

A crowd of devotees stands along the roadside, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts and women in saris in red, orange, green and pink. A man in a white shirt holds a camera. In the centre, a bare-chested elderly man in a white dhoti stands with palms folded in front of a small girl in white and red. A woman in a red sari raises her hand in greeting near a figure in orange. Nothing in the scene visibly identifies a person, so no candidate is marked.

A roadside crowd of devotees stands on a dirt verge beside a tree-lined road, many holding brass or metal plates of offerings. Women in cream, white and beige saris with maroon borders and men in white shirts and dhotis or trousers line up, along with children in light clothing. A man in a white shirt with a rudraksha-style mala stands at left. On the right, a woman raises a camera to photograph, and a large billboard with partly visible text stands at the edge. The scene suggests a procession or reception on the road.

A large outdoor group of devotees stands with palms pressed together in namaskar on a courtyard beside a white building. In the front centre, an older man with a shaved head and a bare upper body wears an orange-brown dhoti and a tan shawl, with a rudraksha mala and bead necklaces, his hands folded. Around him stand men in white shirts and dhotis, women in colourful saris and churidar outfits, including a woman in a pink-and-white sari and a woman in cream with a red border, plus children in pink and striped clothes. Red plastic chairs line a veranda behind them, and a white flag on a pole with a blue emblem stands near the building. A small kolam design is drawn on the ground at the bottom right. The group appears to be in a moment of devotion or greeting.
