In the foreground right, a person seated with bare upper back and an orange robe, wearing a red-and-white flower garland and a hand raised to the head, faces a crowd. A white cloth canopy is strung on bamboo poles over a wooden platform, with marigold-type flower garlands and offerings at its base. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis, some in orange and red waistcloths, stand close together, with women in saris and a small child visible. Orange flags flutter at upper right, and a microphone stand and speaker sit at the platform edge. Several white vans and parked vehicles appear in the background, along with a pink banner.2006-11-13December 25 20072007-12-25November 13 20052005-11-13Outdoor photo on flat, grassy open land with low hills and trees in the distance under a hazy sky. A man with long, swept-back hair wears an orange saffron wrap and a gold-beaded rudraksha-style mala, gesturing with one hand as he speaks. Around him stand about eight men: several in white dhotis and kurtas, one in a plaid shirt and dark trousers, one in white shirt with glasses and a red cord, and one in white shirt with a gold wristwatch on the right. Some have arms folded or hands at the chin.2005-11-13September 17 20062006-09-17November 13 20052005-11-13Eight men stand in a row on open green grass under a pale sky. Probable Swamiji is the saffron-clad man in the centre, identified by his distinctive saffron robe, turban and rudraksha mala.2002-01-01Outdoor photo of a rural gathering on dry open ground with palm trees and a grassy field behind. In the lower left, a figure in an orange robe with a white shawl and a large white and red flower garland sits on a raised platform, speaking into a microphone while gesturing with one hand. A crowd of many men and boys stands before the platform, many in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing lanyards, some in checked lungis and one in a yellow shawl. A cameraman in white stands at left holding a video camera. Behind the crowd are small tents, a parked silver SUV, and a large banner with a portrait on a pole at left, with an orange flag above. Flower garlands and offerings lie along the platform edge.2006-11-13
