Marigold and rose petals cover the red cloth on the seat, and orange cushions surround him. Behind him a golden canopy with white jasmine garlands, pink flowers and yellow, red and teal tassels rises above. Small flower petals or confetti drift in the air.2016-04-10A photograph of a ceremonial coronation on a golden palanquin decorated with pink, green and yellow flower garlands and colourful tassels. A smiling man with long dark hair, wearing a red and white flower garland, an orange garment and a gold crown, sits on a golden throne cushioned in maroon velvet. Behind him, an older bare-chested priest in an orange-red shawl and a gold crown lifts his arm to place a crown or ornament on his head. An orange wall and a metal roof form the backdrop. The scene suggests a ceremonial crowning in a procession setting. Probable Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated central figure, with long hair, orange clothing, a rudraksha-style garland and a gold crown.2012-04-27December 23 20162016-12-23Outdoor temple procession under a canopy at Adhi Kailasa during Navaratri.
