The roof of palm-frond thatch and wooden rafters is torn open and partly collapsed, bound with rope to a bamboo frame. A man in a white dhoti and white vest stands in front of the ruin, holding up a white cloth. A white garment hangs on a line at right, and a coconut palm rises behind the house. Relief-work context is supported by the page, but no ritual or a person appearance is visible.2012-01-06January 06 20122012-01-06 +1 copiesA crowd of villagers stands outdoors in a dusty lane beside a collapsed brick house, with broken bricks, timber beams and thatch piled behind them. A large tree trunk stands in the centre. Several men wear white shirts and checked shirts, one wears a red cap, and an older man in a blue checked cloth stands in front. Women in blue, green and purple saris stand at the edges, one carrying a large white sack on her head and another holding a small child in a yellow dress. A few people hold small papers. No ritual, a person or event signage is visible; the scene appears to show a relief distribution after damage.2009-10-11
