A photograph of a seated ritual in a bright hall with pale pink walls and tiled floor. Two long rows of devotees kneel on mats facing a central line, holding small brass oil lamps lit with flames in raised hands. The foreground men wear orange robes and one wears a white dhoti and shawl with a bare upper body and tilak marks on the forehead and arms. Women in orange, white and red saris join at the far end. Brass plates with flowers, a kalasha-style brass vessel, incense sticks and small brass lamps sit on orange cloths before them. A window and a chair appear in the background. This looks like an aarti or deepa puja performed in a group.
