A man in an orange turban and orange shawl, garlanded with white and red flower necklaces, stands at the open door of a white van, with a man in orange clothing with long dark hair holding the door frame behind him. Around them, men and women in white clothes crowd close: a woman with long dark hair in a white sari with a brown-and-green border turns her back to the camera, a man in a white shirt stands in front, and a young woman in a white sari holds a bundle of yellow marigold garlands. Several men in white and orange shirts are visible in the background, along with orange flags.2010-02-18Outdoor street scene beside a paved road with palm trees and low concrete buildings behind. A man in an orange-saffron garment with a heavy pink and white flower garland stands at an open car door, smiling and extending his arm toward a crowd. Around him, shaven-headed men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and beaded rudraksha necklaces, and women in saris and gold necklaces, press in with hands raised in namaskar. A white van and a yellow bus are parked behind. Appearance-based cues on the garlanded man are limited, so his identity is unsure.2011-10-02June 24 20142014-06-24 +2 copiesAugust 03 20092009-08-03January 18 20092009-01-18A photograph taken under a covered concrete porch at an outdoor arrival area.
