Indoor food service scene in a hall with a red-brown pillar and a dark shuttered window. In the foreground, a man with long dark hair and a beard wears an orange saffron shawl over an orange garment and wraps his hand in clear plastic gloves while serving from a steel pot onto a plate. Beside him, men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing rudraksha-style neck cords, serve food from steel vessels, and a bald man in a teal shirt stands among them. Steel plates of cooked grain are laid out on the counter. Serving for a communal meal, annadan style. A woven basket sits in the lower left.2006-12-15A photograph of a serving counter in an indoor hall with a tiled floor and pillars. Some wear lanyard ID badges and rudraksha-style necklaces; a few wear yellow shoulder bags. A man in a checked shirt sits in the centre and a man in a red and blue polo sits in the foreground, chin in hand. Notebooks and papers are visible in hands. At the top of the frame, a few figures stand near floral decorations and a white-clad attendant, and the hall extends back with more seated rows.2010-10-24A large dining hall filled with many men dressed in white shirts and white dhotis, queuing along a long steel serving counter. Men hold round steel plates and paper-lined trays while servers in white ladle food from steel trays of rice and vegetable dishes. Ceiling fans, fluorescent tube lights and tall columns line the hall, with windows showing trees outside. The crowd is dense, with many people standing and waiting to be served in what appears to be a communal meal, an annadan-style food service. No single figure is identifiable as a person from appearance.2009-08-13Annadhan in 20152015-01-01 +1 copiesAugust 31 20072007-08-31Indoor hall with pale blue walls, grey tiled upper wall and overhead fluorescent lights.
