Indoor temple hall with yellow-tiled walls and red and gold shrines holding multiple deity murtis, with a tall silver kalasha-style lamp stand in the centre. Several priests in white and saffron dhotis perform a puja near a raised platform. Around 30 seated devotees sit on red and patterned floor mats, facing the shrines; some wear white kurtas, saffron and dark clothing. Ornate gold canopies frame the murtis, and dark drapes hang behind them.2022-03-01KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/2/20222022-01-02KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/2/20222022-01-02Photo 82869942022-05-03 +1 copiesKAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 8/9/20192019-08-09KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 10/26/20192019-10-26Photo inside a temple hall with gold-and-red shrine niches holding deity murtis, a tall white ornate lamp stand in the centre, and a red-carpeted altar. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and a white upper cloth stands holding a lit lamp (aarti) before a seated group. Near the front, several women in saffron-orange robes sit on red patterned carpet with brass plates and offerings, and a seated man in white with a rudraksha mala sits on the right beside a woman in white. Brass lamps and trays sit on low wooden tables. The scene shows an evening aarti during a group ritual.2019-03-04A photograph inside a temple hall with gold-framed shrines and multiple deity murti on the back altar, including a central figure with a gold crown beneath an ornate canopy. Seated on red patterned rugs with cushions, around 35 devotees sit in rows; a man in a beige kurta and light trousers sits on a chair at left, a woman in olive green sits cross-legged at centre, and a woman in a black top and a man in a navy hoodie sit on the floor, many wearing blue surgical face masks. A camera on a tripod at right films the gathering, and small wall hangings in red and gold hang from the ceiling. The setting suggests a satsang or meditation session.2021-12-18KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 3/1/20222022-03-01Devotees seated on the floor in a temple hall facing a shrine during a Meenakshi Tirukalyanam observance.
