The feet wear beaded rudraksha-style anklets, and the person's rust-orange and maroon dhoti or cloth edged with gold border is visible above. The tray holds flowers, pink petals and a brass lamp. Blurred devotees in orange and cream clothing sit behind, with hands joined and small oil lamps and brass vessels on the platform. Gold ornamental fittings with an elephant-head motif appear at the left edge. This appears to be a padapuja foot-worship ritual.2017-03-18 +1 copiesDecember 07 20092009-12-07A photo of a padapuja-style offering: a figure in orange cloth sits on a gold-framed seat with red and white flower garlands draped over the orange garment. In the foreground, a silver tray holds red roses, white jasmine-type flowers, green leaves and gold-coloured fruit or bead-like offerings, beside a lit silver oil lamp with a flame. Two hands in white or cream sleeves hold a small silver vessel and reach toward the tray. Only hands and partial limbs of people are visible.
