A festive street procession moves along a dirt road past a white tent-like building with banners and a red-and-white signboard reading Sri Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. At the centre, a decorated ratha or chariot with a saffron canopy and garlands is pulled forward. Drummers in white dhotis and yellow lungis beat large barrel drums, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti plays a wind instrument. Robed people in white and saffron walk alongside, and women in orange, cream and pink saris follow with lanyard badges. Banana plants and decorated umbrellas frame the scene, and a figure in the procession wears saffron cloth and a shawl.
