Night outdoor fire ritual. A priest in a white dhoti with a pink-and-gold border and a yellow turban holds up a white cloth with gold edging over a blazing fire pit, with smoke rising. Another priest in a white dhoti stands behind, and to the right two men in saffron-orange robes press their palms together in prayer, one with a rudraksha mala. Floral offerings, brass vessels and a kalasha sit around the fire pit. White plastic chairs and banana leaves frame the scene, and a decorated pillar with woven bands stands at the right edge.

A devotee in an orange cloth and white dhoti with a blue headband bends over the fire pit, pouring from a small metal ladle while smoke and flame rise from the wooden-framed yellow platform. Garlanded flowers, white blossoms and petals sit nearby. Another man in a white dhoti bends at the left, and a figure in white stands in the background. Bright lights hang overhead under a draped canopy.

A second priest in a white dhoti stands bent over beside him, holding a lamp. Behind them a woman in an orange-red sari presses her palms together in prayer, and another figure in a red-orange sari stands to the right beside a white-draped table with red flowers. Brass vessels, marigold and yellow flower garlands, and a pile of rice grains sit near the fire pit. Striped red and white pillars and steps frame the background, where other people in white stand watching.
