October 09 20112011-10-09Outdoor temple courtyard with a stone Nandi bull draped in marigold garlands on a raised plinth, a grey stone deity sculpture at left, and an orange-brick shrine behind. A long-haired man in a saffron-orange shawl and dark rudraksha mala walks barefoot across a mat, with long hair swept back and no crown or turban visible. Behind him, two men in white dhoti and shawls walk barefoot on a sand path past small fire pits, and at right a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with a sacred thread and a rod walks barefoot. Palm trees fill the background.2010-09-15Outdoor temple courtyard with palm trees and green foliage. In the centre, a barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron wrap over his shoulders and a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, walking across a tiled area beside a red-and-white painted border. Behind him, men in white dhoti and shawls walk among small rows of ash-covered fire pits on the sand. Garlanded stone deity murtis and a Nandi-like bull stand in the background near an orange shrine structure with a tall kalasha, and a bald attendant in white dhoti stands at right. A figure in a saffron-orange robe with a long rudraksha mala walks across a sandy path, with long dark hair swept back; the robe and mala are visible but the appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role as a sannyasi. Beside him, a bald priest in white dhoti and shawl with red border walks carrying a staff, and another man in white sits on a mat at right. Behind them are orange-tiered platforms, a garlanded stone pedestal, grey stone deity statues including a multi-armed figure at upper left, and palm trees. A brass oil lamp rests on a mat with an orange cloth at left.2010-09-15October 02 20112011-10-02Outdoor photograph of a man in a flowing saffron-orange garment walking across a paved courtyard beside a white boundary wall, with a tree and bare branches visible. He has long dark hair falling past his shoulders and a red forehead mark. Beside him, a second man in white ritual clothes and white dhoti walks with a saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders and holds a small paper or notebook. A shelter frame with corrugated roof and a tree canopy overhead. The first man has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a red forehead mark, cues consistent with a person, but the appearance is uncertain given the distance and framing.2010-02-04October 02 20112011-10-02A photograph of two men walking along a dirt path shaded by trees in an ashram garden. The man on the left wears an orange saffron robe, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and has his hands joined in front; he appears to be a sannyasi or devotee. The man on the right is bald and wears a white dhoti with a red border and a white upper cloth, walking barefoot. Behind them, another person in white and a figure in orange are partly visible near a red-and-white building. Green shrubs and palms surround the path.2011-02-01November 23 20092009-11-23October 20 20102010-10-20Outdoor photo at an open courtyard with sandy ground and palm trees. In the centre, a young man with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe and orange dhoti, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, and stands with palms pressed together in namaskar before a small raised square platform with a flat cushion and a low circular fire or offering pit. Behind him, a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and red-bordered shawl holds a bundle of leaves. Surrounding them are grey stone deity murtis and a large black nandi bull statue on an orange plinth, with tall striped kalasha-style pillars and a hanging trident-shaped frame overhead. A signboard stands at the left edge. The person's identity is an appearance-based candidate only, but the page supports the event; described cues are long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala.2010-11-22
