September 26 20112011-09-26A procession walks along a dirt road lined with trees and potted plants under bright daylight. In the centre, a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala wears a garland of marigolds and carries an offering tray, flanked by orange-robed sadhus and men in white shirts and dhotis. A large empty billboard stands behind the trees and a parked car sits to the left. Several figures in white and saffron walk together, some carrying items. The visible cues of the central figure (long hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala, garland) are distinctive, so the central figure is a probable Swamiji.2011-09-26Outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with trees, a parked white van and a large pink billboard behind. A long-haired figure in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a bright marigold garland walks at the centre, flanked by saffron-robed sannyasis barefoot with shaved heads. Behind them men in white dhotis and shirts, some with shawls, follow, and a man in a white shirt walks in front. Yellow and white vestments and a small shrine-like tray are visible near the centre. A Swamiji (probable) candidate at the centre is identified by long swept-back hair, an orange robe, a rudraksha mala and a ceremonial garland, in the role of the one being escorted in procession.2011-09-26A procession walks along a dusty path lined with palm fronds, with coconut palms, a low concrete wall and a field behind them under a clear sky. At the centre, a figure in saffron-orange robes and long dark swept-back hair wears a large white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold pendant, appearing to be a person receiving honour. Around him, saffron-shawled devotees in white dhotis carry tall silver ritual staffs and a trident-topped standard, and an older man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and a bearded man in orange walk alongside. A child stands at the right edge beside a man in a grey shirt. +1 copiesDecember 08 20112011-12-08A procession of about a dozen men walks along a dirt path in front of a whitewashed building with blue doors and a thatched roof.
