December 15 20092009-12-15A crowded indoor hall with a white wall, corrugated metal ceiling and orange-cushioned fixtures. Several devotees in white dhotis and shirts press together with palms folded in namaskar. At centre, a man with long dark hair and a red tilak wears a saffron-orange robe and smiles while reaching out to people. Nearby, a man in an orange robe and gold beaded necklace stands at left, and a woman in an orange sari with a long braid faces him. Behind them, a wall board with framed photographs and a painted pillar with decorative bands stand against the wall. A small deity murti or decorative object sits in the background.2009-12-18December 19 20092009-12-19December 16 20092009-12-16December 01 20092009-12-01 +2 copiesA photograph inside an open-sided hall with a corrugated roof and orange walls. A man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-bordered dhoti, long swept-back hair and a gold-and-flower garland stands centre, smiling with palms pressed together. Beside him to the right, a shaven-headed young man in orange robes and a white dhoti with a red border holds a brass vessel topped with mango leaves. Left, a woman in a cream sari with a green border and a woman in yellow with a floral sari bow with folded hands; several women in white and blue saris stand at the metal railing behind. Hanging decorations, palm-leaf festoons and a framed picture on the wall complete the scene. Probable Swamiji (saffron robes, long hair, gold-and-flower garland, central position) is in person.2010-11-12A crowd of devotees with hands pressed in anjali stands in a plain whitewashed hall with a corrugated metal roof. In the centre, a figure in an orange sleeveless top and orange cloth receives a blessing, with another person in orange beside them and a hand touching the head of a devotee. A man in white with a yellow shawl stands at right holding a wooden tray of offerings. On the left wall hangs a framed poster of several photographs and an orange wall-mounted box is fixed above. Some devotees wear white shirts and dhotis, and a red-and-blue patterned cloth is draped on an older man. The scene reads as darshan and blessing, with the swami-like figure's identity uncertain from appearance alone.2009-12-13A photograph inside a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and exposed steel trusses, lined with tall decorative pillars wrapped in colourful patterned cloth with flower motifs. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes stands centre, extending a hand in blessing over a crowd of folded-hand devotees. A woman in a dark-and-white outfit and a girl in a yellow top are among those with palms pressed together. A saffron-clad attendant in front holds a tray of folded papers. Men in white shirts and a woman in a white top stand at the right. The person in saffron robes with long hair matches the presentation of the page's named teacher, but the face is not clear enough to be certain, so this is a probable identification from clothing and hair alone. Framed notices line the walls behind.2009-12-05December 15 20092009-12-15Photograph of a crowded indoor room with a corrugated metal ceiling and whitewashed walls. A man in an orange saffron shawl and a gold-beaded necklace stands at center with short dark hair and a red mark on his forehead, facing a group of devotees, among them women with long braids in red, pink and yellow saffron-toned saris and a man in a white shirt. Behind them on the wall are framed printed photographs and a text panel. A dark-haired woman in a white sweater stands at left, and a bearded older man in glasses stands at right. A rolled orange cloth hangs on the wall. Appearance-based probable identity: the orange-clad central man wearing a gold-beaded necklace matches a person by orange clothing and ornaments, though the cues are limited.2010-01-05December 18 20092009-12-18December 21 20092009-12-21
