Dim night photograph of the carved wooden doorway of a temple gateway, with ornate panels and carved scrollwork on the frame and dark wooden double doors studded with round brass bosses and square panels. Two uniformed security officers in khaki with light-coloured caps stand at the right of the doors, and a partly visible figure in dark clothing is at the lower left edge. No a person candidate is clearly visible; the page refers to a temple visit, but the doorway shows no identifiable person in the scene.2006-12-04Photo of an ornately carved wooden temple doorway at night, framed by a richly sculpted arched lintel with a carved face and knobbed finials, and tall carved pilasters. Two closed panelled wooden doors with square and circular relief motifs sit in the centre. Two uniformed police officers in khaki stand before the doorway, with a man in a dark jacket and a man with a small red forehead mark in the foreground, partly cropped at the bottom edge. The setting suggests a temple entrance during a visit.2006-12-04July 12 20172017-07-12 +1 copiesJuly 12 20172017-07-12August 15 20172017-08-15 +1 copiesA night procession moves through a stone temple gateway with large wooden doors studded with iron bolts and carved stone walls. In front, a uniformed police officer in khaki shirt and trousers with a red belt walks ahead. Behind him, saffron-robed sannyasis carry rudraksha malas, and a central figure in orange cloth with a crown-like headpiece and ornate necklace walks among men in white dhotis and a figure in a teal-bordered cloth. Overhead lights glow in the dark.2012-05-21May 21 20122012-05-21March 07 20162016-03-07Night photo of a group walking through a heavy old wooden temple gate studded with iron bolts and nails, with a uniformed police officer in khaki in the foreground guiding the way. Four men in saffron-orange robes lead the group, several wearing rudraksha malas, one with a bare upper body and beaded necklaces, and a pale-green cloth bundle is held by a man in white dhoti. Men in white dhotis and shirts follow behind. A small lamp is mounted on the gate and a light glows in the dark background.2012-05-21Crowded nighttime photograph at a temple festival. Uniformed police officers in khaki with dark caps trimmed in blue stand behind metal barricades, some holding a rail and looking toward the sanctum. Strings of yellow, purple and white flower garlands hang along a canopy above a gilded sanctum area with a brass or gold ceremonial pot and a pink floral arrangement on a dark object at left. Blurred devotees in the foreground crowd close to the camera. No identifiable a person is clearly visible in this image.2006-12-04A photograph taken at night at the entrance of a stone temple with a carved doorway and painted ceiling. A figure in an orange saffron robe with a long rudraksha mala, with long dark hair, walks down the striped red-and-white steps. Two uniformed police officers in khaki stand beside and in front of the figure, and a man in a dark jacket and light trousers follows behind. Another uniformed officer stands at right and a person in white is partly visible at the edge. Appearance-based cues are consistent with a candidate, but the face and presentation are not clear enough to confirm identity.2008-07-28May 31 20122012-05-31
