A large crowd of devotees, mostly in white clothes with some in orange or saffron shawls, sits cross-legged on the ground facing the stage. Several figures stand on the platform near a decorated deity murti or altar, and a few seated devotees hold printed pages. Oil lamps and small offerings are placed on the ground in front. The scene suggests a ritual gathering such as a rudrabhishekam or deeksha session, though the stage figures are too distant to identify.2017-02-21Night-time photograph of a large outdoor ritual gathering on tiered stone steps lined with black Shivalingam sculptures. Many devotees sit in rows, several holding small oil lamps or flames, and some wear white dhotis or saris, saffron-orange cloth and rudraksha-style necklaces. Strings of lights, red flags and illuminated trees frame the site behind them, with floodlights overhead. The setting suggests a night puja or aarti with lamps around Shivalingams. No single person is clearly identifiable as the a person from appearance, so no candidate is marked.2016-12-06Night photo of an outdoor ritual gathering at a stone-stepped pond area lit by string lights and floodlights.
