October 10 20172017-10-10Outdoor photograph on a bare red-earth ground in front of a open-sided metal-framed shelter. A figure in a rust-orange robe and long dark hair stands at centre beside a woman in a deep red sari who bows forward, while a man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a large orange-and-red decorated parasol over them. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts stand watching, a boy in a yellow shirt and shorts stands at left, and a black SUV is parked to the right. Women in orange saris stand in the background near white buses and a low hill range. The scene suggests a welcome or honouring ritual under a parasol.2017-02-02Outdoor photograph on a dusty red-earth ground at a rural site.
