December 18 20112011-12-18A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban sits cross-legged on an ornate golden throne (peetha) with lion-face armrests and red cushions. The throne is framed by a large floral backdrop of marigolds, roses and white blooms, topped by a golden canopy. He wears a heavy gold necklace and gold bangles and has a microphone stand in front of him. Gold oil lamps (lamp stands) flank the throne, with a red velvet curtain behind. A white electric fan is visible at right.2015-11-16November 16 20152015-11-16A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion armrests, framed by a flower-garlanded backrest in red, yellow, white and purple. He wears a gold necklace and armlets and speaks into a microphone on a stand. Tall brass oil lamps flank the throne, and a red velvet curtain hangs behind. A white electric fan stands at right. The page indicates the event was not attended by a person, and the seated figure's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm an identity, so he is described by role as a speaker on a throne.2015-11-16 +1 copiesA photograph of a single seated figure on a gold-ornate throne with a red cushion, under a multicoloured canopy with fringe. The man sits in lotus pose wearing an orange-saffron garment, a long gold-toned necklace of beads, and a headband; his arms rest on his knees. The throne is wreathed with garlands of white, yellow, purple and red flowers, and gold carved side panels frame it. A microphone stand stands to the right and a dark blue drape forms the backdrop. Appearance is consistent with the page's claim of a presiding figure in orange robes and mala, though identity is uncertain.2010-12-27A seated man in rust-red and maroon robes sits on an ornate gilded throne with a carved peacock-style back, a tiger-striped cushion and red velvet draping behind him. He wears a maroon head wrap with a patterned band, and garlands of red, yellow and white flowers with rudraksha-style beads hang across his chest, which he holds in his hands. A small white cup rests on the armrest beside him, and a second gilded throne is partly visible at the left edge. Overall the setting is a formal satsang stage.2014-06-01April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesSeptember 09 20152015-09-09A seated figure in an orange saffron robe and an orange-draped lower garment sits in lotus posture on a red cushioned golden throne (peetha) on a stage. The figure wears a multi-strand gold necklace, bangles, and a dark headband with a red tilak. The throne is framed by a long garland of marigolds and white flowers, with a golden canopy above topped with red, yellow, green and blue tassels and a flower garland draped over the seat. Dark blue draped curtains form the backdrop, with a microphone stand and a small spotlight at right, and a patterned rug below. Swamiji is presented as a person seated on the throne, matching the appearance cues of distinctive saffron robes, ornate gold necklaces and long hair, so this is a probable identification.2010-12-27A man seated on an ornate gold throne (peetha) with a large arch of marigold and rose garlands in yellow, orange, red, purple and white behind him. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a long rudraksha mala and layered ceremonial gold necklaces, and raises one hand in blessing while smiling. Gold oil lamps stand on either side and a temple-style stone carving forms the backdrop. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, seated on a throne in the role of the honoured teacher.2013-01-06A seated man in a golden ornate throne with a fan-shaped backrest, set against red and white draped velvet and satin. He wears a maroon head wrap with a red tilak, a maroon and orange-bordered dhoti-style robe, and a garland of red and yellow flowers with white jasmine strands over his shoulders.
