A photograph of a computer monitor on a stand showing a slide titled SINGAPURAM. The slide shows a group of people with hands pressed together in namaste standing and seated behind an arrangement of offerings, including a green banana-leaf-style plate with fruit and a small clock-like object. A projected presentation with bullet-style text sits on the large screen to the right. The monitor displays a photograph of people, so those people are depicted rather than physically present. Background is a dim room with a red curtain and a tripod leg visible.2011-10-21February 05 20112011-02-05November 15 20112011-11-15November 07 20112011-11-07November 07 20112011-11-07A projected presentation screen shows two images side by side. On the left, a photograph of about a dozen people seated on a wooden floor in a plain room, several with hands pressed in anjali, with a small lit lamp and offerings on a low table; a printed placard reads SINGAPURAM. On the right, a man in a white turban and white dhoti, with a white shawl draped over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, sits smiling in front of an ornately carved stone arch with lion figures.2011-11-07A photograph of a large screen showing a live video link from Singapore Singapuram, labelled with a white caption reading SINGAPORE SINGAPURAM. Devotees sit on the floor on mats and cloth in a room with orange and yellow drapes, a small shrine with deity murtis, and a bright red-and-gold patterned rug. Men and women in white, cream, red and patterned clothing press palms together in namaskar, some with eyes closed. A woman on the left claps. In front are ritual offerings: plates of fruit, sweets, banana, flowers, a silver bowl and thali-style trays with food, and bags of offerings. The screen shows this scene as one feed of the Guru Purnima celebration at Bidadi.2013-07-22A photograph of a projected slide showing a group of about seven people seated on a patterned blue and cream floor mat in a bright room, with their hands in anjali mudra. In the foreground a young woman in a red skirt sits beside a small offering table holding a bowl of fruit, flowers and a cup. A wooden table draped in green cloth holds a deity murti and brass items, and a large painting hangs on the right wall. A laptop sits at left, and a placard on the table reads SINGAPURAM.2011-12-12A photograph of a flat-screen monitor on a wooden table showing a video-conference grid of many small windows. Most windows show groups of people seated at events, some with banners and flower arrangements. The bottom-right window shows a woman in an orange sari and necklace seated on an ornate white-and-gold throne-style chair against a blue curtain. A second monitor is partly visible at left, and a small camera sits on the table in front. Physical people in the room are not clearly visible beyond the screens.2011-01-23February 21 20172017-02-21A photograph of a black Philips monitor on a draped reddish-brown table, showing a multi-panel video grid of satsang and pada puja groups from several locations. Top-left panel shows seated devotees in white and colourful clothes around offerings; a woman in pink sits in an ornate white throne-like chair in the bottom-right panel, wearing a pink sari and gold necklace. Panels show devotees seated on mats with plates and flowers, a labelled panel reading SINGAPORE and another reading TORONTO. Another monitor at left and an out-of-focus figure in orange at right are visible. A camera sits on the table in front of the screen.2011-01-23 +1 copiesMay 01 20142014-05-01
