October 06 20112011-10-06Close photograph of an abhishekam in progress. Two hands, one wearing a gold bangle with a small deity figure, pour a milky white liquid over small bronze deity murti on a silver-rimmed plate placed on a gold-ornamented altar. The liquid streams down the sides of the plate onto the golden tray. A green silk cloth and a red garment appear at the edges, with scattered yellow flowers. No face or full body of any person is visible, so no a person candidate appears.2011-10-06June 26 20122012-06-26November 14 20102010-11-14Close view of an abhishekam on a silver tray filled with white liquid. A grey-black stone Shivalinga sits at centre, surrounded by small brass figures including a standing deity murti holding a small vessel on the left, a seated deity murti and a bull (nandi) figure beside the linga, and yellow flowers at the front. A thin silver pouring spout arcs over the scene from the right, held by a hand wearing a ring. Gold-coloured cloth lies behind the tray with a polished brass vessel in the background.2013-09-02October 06 20112011-10-06May 27 20132013-05-27 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20172017-01-03 +1 copiesOctober 06 20112011-10-06January 03 20172017-01-03 +1 copiesClose photo of a ritual pouring: a pair of hands holds a small vessel and pours a white liquid. Pink lotus flowers and white flowers lie on the tray beside brass ritual items. A second pair of hands, wearing red-thread bracelets and a ring, rests on the tray at right. At right edge, a person in orange garment sits beside the tray. In the foreground, a dark-haired head is partly visible at left. The setting suggests abhishekam or puja.2010-10-29January 01 20172017-01-01
