A woman in a rust-orange sari with a gold-bordered hem stands barefoot on a dark stone platform at the base of a large banyan tree, her palms pressed together in prayer at her chest. A marigold or orange garland rests on her hair. Her long dark hair falls down her back. Before the tree, a low white-washed masonry bench and raised plinth hold a red and patterned cloth with small offerings. Aerial roots hang from massive branches overhead.2013-04-09A barefoot person in saffron-orange robes stands with palms pressed together in namaste on a dark polished stone platform beside a large banyan tree. Nearby, a low white circular stone platform surrounds the tree's base, and a small patterned red-and-blue rug lies at the edge of the platform with a small offering on it.
