Many devotees crowd a dirt path: a woman in a white sari with a striped border presses her palms together, a woman in a yellow blouse and orange sari stands near the centre, a woman in a pink kurta with a red shawl and a girl in grey stand at right. Men in white dhotis and kurtas stand among them, one with hands folded. Golden tridents and ceremonial staffs rise above the crowd, and a white canopy shows at right, with an orange-and-red banner and palm trees behind a terracotta wall.2012-01-01A large crowd of devotees sits on the ground outdoors in an evening setting, mostly dressed in white with some in orange and cream. At the centre, a figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a white shawl, seated before a group of decorated deity murti framed by yellow and orange garlands. Behind them stand ornate carried shrines or palanquins with colourful fabric canopies, and a few onlookers stand at the back. The gathering appears to be a seated satsang or puja before the processional deities.2005-12-22December 31 20092009-12-31December 29 20082008-12-29A large crowd walks in a procession outdoors beneath palm trees, with a decorated temple gopuram tower visible in the background. At centre, a man with long swept-back hair wears an orange saffron shawl and a heavy gold necklace, appearing to be a Swamiji (probable) by his long hair, saffron clothing and gold ceremonial necklace. Beside him, a man in white holds a tall wooden pole with an orange flag, and several people in white dhotis and orange shawls, some wearing rudraksha malas, walk nearby. A woman in a white sari and an older bald man in white shirt and dhoti are also in the procession.2006-12-23December 20 20102010-12-20December 31 20092009-12-31
