A decorated ratha or wooden cart is wrapped in marigold garlands and red, green and white floral arches, carrying a framed portrait and a seated deity murti adorned with yellow and white flower garlands. A man in saffron clothing reaches up to adjust the portrait at the top of the cart. The chariot canopy is orange and multicoloured with garlands of white and yellow flowers hanging from its top and sides. Seated on a raised throne within the chariot is a figure with long dark hair, wearing a saffron garment and a garland, with a deity murti visible beside him. Orange flags and decorative ceremonial fans surround the chariot. A dense crowd of devotees in white and grey shirts, saris and kurtas walks alongside, several raising hands or phones. Palm trees line the background. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing; the appearance-based identification is probable.
