A photograph of a temple shrine at night showing two gilded metal deity murtis seated side by side, one male with an ornate crown, multi-strand jewelled necklaces and a red-orange turban, the other female with a crown and green-gold garment. Both are draped with garlands of yellow, white and red flowers. A smaller seated figure in orange wrapper and gold ornaments sits in front on a white and red-striped cloth. On the left, a man in an orange saffron robe, his bare arm outstretched, holds a lit oil lamp toward the murtis in an aarti. Grey carved stone pillars and red velvet drapes frame the scene. Only the man in orange is a physical person.

A priest in a saffron-orange robe and an ornate silver-and-embroidered crown sits cross-legged at left, holding a small brass bell and lamp near a lit oil lamp. In front of him stands a large shivalinga draped in a garland of yellow, orange and red flowers, with a bowl of food offering on a white cloth. Behind the lingam, golden deity murtis of a seated goddess and a male deity wear pearl necklaces and garlands, set before purple drapes printed with trident motifs. Brass pots, bells, a kalasha and marigold petals sit on the stone floor. The scene suggests an abhishekam at a temple shrine.

A photograph of a night-time abhishekam at a temple. A priest in a saffron-orange robe and an ornate silver-and-blue patterned headdress sits at left, holding a lit oil lamp in a metal holder toward the deity. Behind him, two large golden-hued deity murtis sit on a raised pedestal, one wearing a red-and-white turban and multiple pearl and red-bead necklaces, the other in a maroon sari with gold jewellery and a crown. Yellow and red marigold garlands drape over the murtis and around a Shivalinga on a white-draped altar. Brass lamps and offering bowls sit at the base, with a purple draped backdrop behind. The lamp flame and smoke are visible at left.

A photograph of a temple ritual at a shrine framed by an ornate gold arch and draped with marigold and yellow-purple flower garlands. A person with long dark hair and a white flower garland, wearing an orange saffron robe, reaches up with one hand to a figure on the shrine. A second person in orange robes at the lower left holds a brass tray with small brass cups. Two large decorated deity murtis stand on the shrine: the one on the left wears a red-and-green turban and a gold crown, and the one on the right wears a gold-embroidered orange sari, a gold crown and heavy jewellery. Garlands of yellow, purple and red flowers surround the figures, and a golden kalasha stands in front. The ritual is an abhishekam or puja-style offering at a temple shrine.

A devotee in an orange sannyasi-style robe stands at left, holding a brass aarti lamp or offering vessel toward a shrine. Inside a stone pavilion with a gold-framed arch, two large deity murtis are dressed in gold and draped in layered garlands of yellow, red, white and green flowers. The seated figure wears a gold saree and gold jewellery, while the standing figure wears an orange turban and a pearl necklace. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and a small statue in orange with white flower garlands sits in front of the central pedestal. A white cloth and offerings rest on the pedestal, with trees behind the pavilion.

A photograph of a temple-style pavilion where a man in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a flower garland performs aarti, holding a silver lamp with a lit flame before a seated pair of deity murtis. The central figure wears an orange turban, a bejeweled gold necklace and folds his hands in namaskar; the figure beside wears a brown and gold sari, a crown and jewelled necklaces. Both are decorated with long garlands of yellow and purple flowers. Red and gold draped fabric backs the scene. Two seated men in white and orange clothes sit at the left, hands folded in devotion. A small orange-turbaned figure in front, decorated with garlands and a jewelled cloth, appears to be a statue or image. Plain stone columns frame the pavilion.
