A photograph of an outdoor temple-style ritual under a open pavilion with palm trees behind. Two large deity murtis, one on the left and one on the right, are decorated with dense garlands of orange, yellow, red and green marigolds and gold ornaments, with multicoloured fringed canopies overhead. Three men in orange-saffron dhoti-style cloths stand at the centre and left: a man on the left holds a microphone and has long braided hair with a beaded necklace; a man in the centre holds a small vessel and gestures toward the deity while wearing a rudraksha-style necklace; a third man beside him holds a lit lamp-like object near his chest. Brass and clay pots, bunches of sugarcane stalks, bananas, and baskets of fruit and flowers lie on striped cloths in the foreground, consistent with a Pongal harvest offering. No identifiable a person depiction is established from appearance, so the figures are described by role.

Outdoor pavilion with a red floor cloth, leafy bamboo and mango-leaf decorations, and a mud-plastered ground. A man in a maroon-brown dhoti with a saffron-red turban and a marigold garland stands at left, while saffron-robed attendants and a bare-chested man in orange cloth tend the ritual area. Several clay pots with leaf-wrapped rims sit on flower-strewn mud platforms beside a white kolam design and bananas, fruit and offerings on banana leaves. At right, a decorated altar holds flowers, oil lamps and a row of silver-toned items, with saffron-and-white triangular banners hanging on the posts.

A photograph of a temple puja at an outdoor shrine beneath an arched golden frame. A man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala kneels at left, holding a silver tray, while a second man in orange with a white head cloth and a white garland stands beside him. Behind them a deity murti is adorned with a large garland of purple, white and yellow flowers, and a golden kalasha-like vessel and fruit offerings sit on a golden stand and a platform. A blue cloth backdrop hangs at left. A small figure in pink and a second orange-robed attendant appear at the edges. Brass pots, lamps and flower offerings are arranged in front.

A photograph of a temple ritual in an open-sided pavilion. A bearded man in a rust-brown robe, a matching turban and a long flower garland stands at centre, with heavy gold necklaces and bangles. Behind him, attendants in orange and white dhotis and bare-chested boys with rudraksha malas carry a ceremonial umbrella and pots. Before a white-framed shrine stand large clay murtis of Ganesha and a goddess, garlanded with yellow and pink flowers. Hanging decorative streamers and a palm-lined garden complete the scene.
