December 27 20092009-12-27December 30 20082008-12-30Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A man with long dark hair, a white forehead marking, a red-and-orange shawl and layered gold necklaces walks barefoot along a woven straw mat, wearing a red-orange garland and carrying a silver tray. Around him, saffron-clad men with white tilaka and beads stand with hands folded, and several women in red and pink saris press palms together in namaskar. A small golden deity murti and a red-painted shrine block sit at the right edge, with a patterned blue rug on the ground. Swamiji (probable): the walking man wears a long dark-haired presentation with ornate gold necklaces and a garland, consistent with the page's reference to the event.2013-03-10July 07 20092009-07-07Outdoor photograph of a procession on a paved path beneath a large shady tree. A central man wears a maroon-brown robe, a long garland of red and white flowers, and a rudraksha-style necklace, with his hair long and swept back. Beside him a man in a white dhoti with a gold border and a bare upper body walks, and orange-robed attendants flank the group. A woman in dark clothing holding a video camera films at the left edge. Trees and a red fence line the background.2017-01-01December 19 20112011-12-19December 19 20112011-12-19Outdoor temple scene under a large banyan tree. A deity murti draped in orange cloth and garlanded with marigolds and red-and-yellow flowers stands in a stone arched niche, with a mound of red kumkum or vermilion powder at its base. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes with a sacred thread and beaded necklaces holds a lit oil lamp and a silver bell during aarti. A second man in a saffron robe and beaded garlands holds a brass tray, and a third man in white stands behind them. Two women in orange saris stand to the right with hands folded in prayer. The ground shows a white and pink rangoli design. The lead figure wears a dark cap with a gold headband and has long dark hair; his distinctive presentation and ceremonial role are consistent with a person, but his appearance alone is not conclusive.2010-12-27Outdoor procession under trees on a dirt path edged by a stone kerb. In front, a man with long dark hair wears a pink dhoti-style garment and gold-bead garlands and walks barefoot. Behind him, several men in saffron-orange robes with orange shawls and garlands walk in line, while others in white dhotis with orange shawls follow, one carrying a brass tray. A white pillar stands at left and a few more people trail in the background.2010-12-26July 07 20092009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07December 19 20112011-12-19
